Job Description

Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application.
Experience of creating / designing / manufacturing HVAC products.
Ability to understand the client’s application specific requirement and design the right technical solution to suit their need.
Ability to research, design, draft specifications and lead testing procedures for manufacturing Department.
Understand client’s needs and select the right technical solution by designing and quoting for HVAC products.
Liase with Production department to create the first prototype and then fine tune designs till they are ready for final production.
Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company approved databases.
Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects.
Ability to do market research and analysis on applicability of HVAC products for various applications.
Support all market research by coordinating with material suppliers to understand final product cost.
Co-ordinate with client and production team to ensure that the correct solution is selected, proposed and executed.
Maintaining high quality design documents from initial design through completion of construction with correct indexing.
Maintaining effective communications with various project teams during the process.
Communicate with interdepartmental marketing, sales and estimating individuals.
Communicate with project leaders during progress meetings and coordinate closely with all project teams on any special requirements projects may have.
Should be able to lead a team.

Mandatory Requirements:

Excellent analytical and mathematical knowledge.
Thorough understanding of the HVAC products / applications and thermo dynamics.
Ability to conceptualise and Design a HVAC Product to suit the given application.
