DESCRIPTION:

- Solid experience in developing cutting edge technology products and platforms for financial services clients. Any experience in the Payments domain will be a big plus

- Must have lead large teams (100+) of Project Managers, Developers and Architects

- In-dept understanding of Agile at scale delivery methodology. At least 5 years of experience in leading large Agile development teams

- Experience with cutting edge technology:

Front End - HTML, CSS, Any Javascript Framwork(React/Angular/Vue) Ecosystem

Backend - Node JS, Java or Kotlin ecosystem.

Big Data Ecosystem - HDFS, Spark, Hive, HBASE, Elastic, Kafka, preferably Python, Jupyterlab

Testing & Dev Ops - Front end Javascript testing frameworks (any of Jest, Enzyme, Cypress) and backend automation using scripting. Good understanding of CI/CD tools - Cloud Platform - Azure or Google Cloud.

Architecture & Design - Domain Driven Design, Architecture patterns, UML.

Methodology - Agile Frameworks preferably SAFe, Lean principles, Behavior Driven Development (BDD)

- Technically hands on, should be able to sit down with the architects, developers and mentor/guide them on technology hurdles/challenges they face on a day to day basis.

- Engage client with specific architectural roadmaps and overall product development strategy.

- Good client handling skills

Qualifications

- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in Product development or IT services space with good exposure to Managed Services delivery model - primary experience on Application or Product development.

- Well versed with global (onsite-offshore) IT operations including staffing, skill management (technical and functional), team management, technology management.

Leadership Skills :

- Ability to inspire and influence change in delivery levels by directly mentoring and coaching leads and team members

- Conflict management and negotiation skills -

- Skill gap identification and development in our global teams

- Most important: Ability to translate customer and management's feedback into constructive and actionable improvements in service levels
