Associate Director - Grocery Fc Central Operations

About The Role :

This Role Is Responsible For Managing All The Central Operations Activities Related To Grocery Fulfilment Centres.

This Role Broadly Covers The Following Aspects :

- Planning &Amp; Layouting For New Fulfillment Centres With Design To Maximize Throughput And Optimize Operational Processes To Deliver Best Performance

- Support Ramp Up And Stabilization Of New Facilities In Consultation With Zonal And Regional Teams

- Drive Inventory Management Principles And Policies And Continuously Optimize The Processes Related To Inventory.

- Monitor And Manage Performance Of Fcs And Provide Functional Expertise In Problem Solving For Performance And Metrics Optimization

- Process Improvements And Deployment Across All Facilities. Work On Continuous Cost Optimization Together With Design &Amp; On Ground Teams

- Support In Evolving Processes Around New Business Models And Optimizing Them Basis Requirements

What You'Ll Do:

- Manage A Team Of High Performing Individuals Dedicated To Delivering Functional Expertise In Fulfilment Centre Operations And Building And Delivering A Long Term Road Map For The Asset In Areas Of: Inventory Management, Process Control And Optimization, Cost Reduction And Central Support

- End To End Responsibility Of Centrally Monitoring And Ensuring Adherence To Operating Plans On Capacity, Scaling Up Operations, Operating Metrics And Cost Per Order Across All Operating Fcs Both Own Operated And 3Pl

- Continuously Improve Processes And Policies To Keep Up With The Evolving Business Needs And Be Ahead Of The Plan Through Innovation And Process Improvements

- Set A Long Term Vision On Process Improvements And Automation Required And Work With Design Teams To Find Solutions

- Deploy New Processed In All Fcs And Scale Up In Line With The Plan And Ensure Compliance To Timelines And Cost Targets

- Manage Overall Reporting And Tracking Of Fc Performance And Identify Trends And Patterns For Improvement In Performance. Work Closely With All Zonal And Regional Stakeholders To Ensure Actions On Areas Of Improvement

- Support 3Pl Vendors With Process Expertise To Facilitate Performance And Cost Control

- Retrieve, Analyze And Monitor Fc Performance At A Zonal Level On A Weekly Basis. Also, Drive Action Points With Zonal Teams For Improvement. Facilitate In Problem Solving

- Coordinate And Manage Periodic Performance Review Meetings At The Facility Level And Follow Up And Ensure Identified Action Items Are Completed On Time

- Champion All Compliance And Safety Initiatives And Identify Areas Of Improvement And Work With Stakeholders To Improve Safety Culture

- Evaluate, Monitor And Drive All Non-Compliance Audit Points To Closure In Coordination With All External And Internal Stakeholders For All Audits

Minimum Qualification Requirements :

- Mba From A Premier Institution

- Relevant Knowledge And Experience In Fulfilment Centre Operations Or Similar Fields In Large Scale Operations

- Proven Experience In Planning, Problem Solving, Innovation, Stakeholder Management &Amp; Data Based Working. Experience In Process Improvement, Inventory Optimization And Cost Optimization Will Be Added Benefit
