Job Description

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

· Understanding Client requirements, modifications, brief & event objectives;

· Acting as a bridge between the Client and the Operations & Creative teams;

· Generating new business & repeat business from existing clients, managing client relationships & selling promotional marketing services;

· Ensuring a good turn-around time & quality output;

· Sending Daily/ weekly Reports, maintaining client tracker, updating account files and ensuring follow-up procedures;

· Understanding the marketing plan & budgetary guidelines for client negotiations;

· Making PPT/ Keynote & PDF presentations & commercial outlay of events; maintaining up to data database

· Participating in marketing strategies & sales plans & meeting quarterly sales targets;

· Market Intelligence: Identifying and analysing competition and staying abreast with the latest event trends;

· Excellent communication skills for client servicing & event execution;

· Social Media Marketing-Developing strategy to reach target audience by choosing the right medium of social media marketing.

· Ensuring quality of content on social media & updating social media presence with due consideration on SEO tools.

· Other duties and tasks assigned by the management within the job scope.

Knowledge Competencies/Skills

· The ideal candidates should have a successful sales track record in direct sales and an ability to develop targeted prospect databases and leads in events sector

· Should have minimum 2 years of event sales or any such relevant work experience with proven track record.

· The person should have handled good number of clientele (Corporates or Associations or weddings or social groups) preferably in Bangalore or Karnataka.

· Should have excellent customer relationship management skills.

· Ability to use email, Internet applications, MS Office suite.

· Should have a flair for social media marketing & good to have knowledge of digital marketing tools.

· Target driven with a proven sales ability, ability to prioritise and plan workload efficiently,

· Highly organised and self-motivated person who can efficiently and effectively manage a wide range of tasks and objectives.

· Strong team player with good entrepreneurial skills

Work Location: - Bangalore but may need to travel for event.
