Job Description - Chief Technology Officer

Looking for candidates from FinTech or BFSI domain with experience in mobile applications and systems for large scale consumer facing products and minimum 2+ years experience in lead designer role with people management.

Description:

- Perform design, development, and support of existing and new products.

- Understand product vision and business needs to define product requirements and product architectural solutions.

- Develop architectural and design principles to improve the performance, capacity, and scalability of product.

- Work with Product Manager in planning and execution of new product releases.

- Consult the business management team to clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified products.

- Work with the domain, product management, and product engineering teams in the solution engineering efforts.

- Maintain product roadmap and architectural standards that assure product development projects optimally align with business objectives.

- Define product validation policies so as to deliver products that meet system and project expectations.

- Facilitate the creation, review, and sign off of project deliverables.

- Provide support for production escalations and problem resolution for customers.

- Hands-on technical Leader and Assist technical team with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems knowledge.

- Banking and Financial Services background preferred, especially in Mobile/Digital platform design and developments.

Skills & Requirements.

- 7+ years in developing mobile applications and systems for large scale consumer-facing products with minimum 2+ years experience in lead designer role with people management.

- Bachelors / Master's Degree in Computer Science or related.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, concurrency and fundamentals of computer science.

- Expertise in UI architecture, system design and architecture (MVC/3 Tier). Micro-services experience for large systems a plus.

- In depth knowledge and strength in JavaScript and related frameworks. Excellent programming skills in one ore more JavaScript, Android Java, Node.js, Java (spring boot)

- Good understanding of backend systems i.e. web-services, APIs from building and maintenance perspective.

- Deep understanding of all layers of the web stack (from client interface to database).

- Should have experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Good to have dynamoDB and -My SQL DB exposure.

Knowledge of the following will be considered as an advantage:

- Consumer Web Development Experience for High-Traffic, Public Facing web applications

- Experience with cloud technologies also a plus like E.g GAE

- Continuous integration (Jenkins/Hudson) and version control (SVN, Git).
