Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a main point of contact for all issues related to the Compensation and Benefits areas and manage relationships with stakeholder group and key individuals
  • Design, build, modify, and implement total rewards processes, policies, and programs in alignment with HR and the Google Operations Center strategy
  • Deliver HR programs and services, monitor effectiveness of existing HR programs and services for their business entity, and engage with HR service delivery organization on issues and resolution
  • Perform local market salary and/or benefits bench marking to ensure the Google Operations Center compensation is in line with market standards
  • Ensure parity in base pay levels within teams
  • Ensure compensation and benefits policies align with the desired inclusion and diversity principles of the Google Operations Center 
  • Help develop and apply global compensation and benefits guidelines, frameworks, and methodologies
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in applying comprehensive knowledge of compensation and benefits processes and associated tools
  • Maintain expert knowledge by researching leading practices, monitoring legal developments, evaluating emerging trends, and keeping appraised of technological advancements related to compensation and benefits
  • Represent HR at the business table and maintain the relationship between HR and leading business decision makers

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and oral) and stakeholder management at multiple levels
  • Bachelor’s Degree holder from an accredited institution
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in business, HR, payroll or finance
  • Excellent working knowledge of HR policies/procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Work experience in BPO and/or captive services organizations
  • Experience in team management and execution
  • Experience using HR tools for performance management and applicant tracking systems
