Resolution and Recovery :

Resolution Plan : A "Living Will" for a bank or other financial institution which outlines a contingency plan that is actionable in case that institution becomes insolvent and needs to be recapitalized/restructured. The goal of a Resolution Plan is to ensure that, if necessary, systemically important financial institutions would be able to fail in an orderly manner-in other words, to be effectively resolved. Resolution Planning is mandated by law.

Recovery Plan : The Recovery Plan prepares us to restore our financial strength and viability during a financial stress situation. A Recovery Plan provides levers/alternatives that the firm could action, to respond and recover from a financial stress situation. The Plan includes an inventory of potential actions that could be used to raise capital and liquidity in a severe stress situation to restore the firm. Recovery planning is a supervisory requirement.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1) Data Production, validation and coordination for various appendices of the plan

2) Assist in developing procedures for the the validation and production of CIB R&R reports in coordination with the Corporate Appendix Data Producers, CIB Plan Owners and the CIB R&R core team and Firmwide R&R Team in New York

3) Preparation and publication of reports and appendix information to CIB R&R Plan Owners for review and sign-off

4) Management and tracking of sign-offs received from the CIB R&R Plan Owners

5) Appendix data produced or coordinated by the team include, but are not limited to, Financials (Balance Sheet, Income Statement), Headcount, MIS Applications, Real Estate, and Vendor Contracts by Material Legal Entity, Line of Business and Critical Operation

6) Additional activities include :

- Developing and implementing solutions to challenges encountered during the Appendix production or coordination process

- Cost Center Mapping

- QC of content for the Resolution and Recovery Plans covered by the CIB R&R Team

- PMO activities including Clarity, Resource Plan, SharePoint and Distribution List maintenance

Qualifications :

- 1+ years in a Finance organization with exposure to accounting, financial statements, regulatory reporting, and products

- Experience in an Investment Bank Controllers organization and/or knowledge of SEC reporting or Reg Reporting a plus

- Ability to summarize complex information and deliver it at business executive level

- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

- Self-motivated and willing to take initiative; ability to thrive in a changing work environment

- Strong grasp of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
