Job Responsibilities:

The Lead Engineer Will Lead The End To End Engineering And Development Of The Current And Future Data Collection System.
The Lead Will Provide Second Level Support For All Wireless And Wireline Systems; Investigate And Triage Potential Network And/Or Application Related Issues Impacting Daily File Collection, Processing And Delivery As Required. The ?[Title]? Will Be Engaged With Maintenance Engineering, Switch Engineering, Network Implementation, And Vendor Support Teams Involved In Supporting And Developing Wireless And Wireline Systems.
He/She Will Build Relationships With A Number Of Key Stakeholders Across A Variety Of Teams Including: Jitr (Billing), Revenue Assurance, Maintenance Engineering Lab, Core Network Teams, And Many More Downstream Application Teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’S Degree In A Relevant Technical Or Networking Discipline Or Equivalent Work Experience.
Minimum 4-5 Years Of Systems Engineering And/Or System Performance And Testing Experience.
Operating Systems: Linux, Unix, Solaris, Windows, Databases – Hadoop, Oracle, Mysql, Etc.
5 Years’ Experience With Layer 2 – Layer 7 Packet Data Concepts: Tcp/Ip And Udp, Routing, Basic Lan/Wan Network Connectivity Etc.
3 Years’ Hands On Experience With Linux And/Or Unix Systems.
Prior Experience With Virtual Environments: Zookeeper, Nifi, Kubernetes
Experience With C/C++, Spark, Java Programming Languages
Fluent In Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio)
Strong Experience Developing/Maintaining Support Tools On Unix Platforms (Shell Scripting).
Excellent Interpersonal And Communications Skills.
Strong Initiative And Self-Starter Skills.
Background In Supporting Virtualization And Cloud Computing Environments A Plus.
Red Hat, Spark, Hadoop, Ccna, Or Related Certifications Are A Plus, But Not Required.

Nice To Have:

Hands-On And/Or Expert Skills In One Or More Of The Following Technology Areas Are Highly Desirable:
Prior Knowledge Of 3Gpp, Volte, Ims, Tcp Ip, Sip, Lte Architecture And Protocols
Familiarity With Safe/Agile Framework &Amp; Methodology
Data Mediation Experience
