● Should be a hands on programmer, willing to write code right at the interview stage

● Development of a Web-based application in an Agile Environment

● Hands on experience in ecommerce software & solutions

● Knowledge of Java web/application servers

● A solid understanding of data structures, design patterns and OOP

● Experience with Spring Framework

● Experience in Javascript frameworks such as KendoJS, KnockoutJS, Backbone and AngularJS

● Good understanding of database design – SQL Server experience preferred

● Good at writing efficient, maintainable and reusable code that preserves privacy and security

● Good at coding / unit testing the modules, so they can be integrated with little / less interactions with front-end teams

● Work closely with the Business team to translate functional requirements into technical specifications

● Strong problem solving and analytical skills

● Must be a self-starter and have the ability to effectively work in a fast- pace, deadline driven, and collaborative programming environment

● Ability to learn new technologies, lead, guide and motivate individuals and develop team
