  1. Greet clients as soon as they arrive and connect them with the appropriate party
  2. Answer the phone in a timely manner and direct calls to the correct offices
  3. Create and manage both digital and hardcopy filing systems for all partners
  4. Make travel arrangements and schedule meetings based on all partners’ itineraries
  5. Deal with bookings by phone, e-mail, letter, fax or face-to-face
  6. Complete procedures when Guests arrive and leave
  7. Prepare bills and take payments
  8. Take and pass on messages to Guests
  9. Deal with special requests from Guests
  10. Answer questions about what the hotel offers and the surrounding area
  11. Deal with complaints or problems
  12. Answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls
  13. Schedule and confirm appointments and maintain event calendars
  14. Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations
  15. Inform other employees of visitors’ arrivals or cancellations
  16. Enter customer data and send correspondence
  17. Copy, file and maintain paper or electronic documents and records
  18. Handle incoming and outgoing mail
